Alicia looked around the park. Trees everywhere, the perfect haven for her. She could stay here for a long time and nobody would find her. She loved it here and wanted to stay. Only she knew she couldn't. If she did stay here forever somebody would come along and she would have to trust them. She just doesn't want to trust anybody. Much less somebody she doesn't even know.
Alicia survived this thing the first time. Now all she had to do was survive it long enough till she can find a place where people still live and still are living with no worries from nature. She knew there had to be a place like that. Only she hasn't found it yet.
Alicia stood there in front of the park gate looking at all the trees and bushes. She knew which ones would have snakes and which ones had berries on it. She also knew which berries were poisonous. Sometimes she wishes her dad was still here. Only her dad died a long time before this happened. So now here she is standing in front of the park like an idiot.

Victoria. No 'i' in team, but there is one in life, and it's my life.It was ominous and silent. She was sitting on the swingset, not moving a muscle. There was a puddle below her, so she could see her tired face, framed by her colorful hair, or at least the parts that had pulled free from the knot on top of her head. She'd put some green in her bangs. It looked strange, but who really cared. Victoria didn't. In fact, she liked it. A dog padded to her side, and she looked at it.
"Hello, boy." She gave it a scratch behind the ears and a bit of her jerky. "At least abandoned stores are good for something." Her fingers tugged at the canines tangled fur. He looked very expensive, a purebred border collie for sure. Instantly naming him Stanley, she twitched when he looked over towards the gate. Someone was standing there. The girl put her hand on the dogs head, and reassured him. She stirred the water up at she stood, and peeked at the figure. From what her dirty glasses could make out, it was a girl, not as tall as her. Most was indistinct, and Victoria took a step forward, like she was following deer. A twig snapped, and she jerked backwards, almost falling over Stanley, who yelped in surprise. Victoria tensed, hoping the girl hadn't noticed her. She really did not want to deal with another human right now. Music muse: N/A Notes: N/A

Alicia heard a twig snap and than a dog whimper. She ran to the nearest tree and climbed up. She started to jump from branch to branch, once she was high up enough. She saw the person and the do that whimpered. She looked down at them and the dog looked up at her and started to growl. Alicia hid behind a branch so the dog could not see her. She wasn't sure the person could see her but she knew the dog could not.

VictoriaSomehow I don't think I'm aloneSomething moved, and her hands flew to her pocket, with the switchblade that had once belonged to her brother resting within. Stanley growled at something, up in the tree, from what she's observed. Victorias face drained of the little color it had. If the other girl decided to attack, what if it meant she might have to kill? Shuddering, she followed Stanleys gaze into the foliage. A darker thing was peeking out at her. This was the opurtune moment to show she wasn't a threat. Time to- ugh- talk.
"You, there, in the tree? Yes, miss, I can see you. Stanley saw you first, though... do come down, I hate having to crane my neck just to speak to someone. You're safe, my knife is only used when I actually need it." Slipping the knife out just a bit before letting it fall back into her pocket, Victoria then put her hands on her hips. Well, one hand on one hip, the other stroking Stanleys soft little head. He calmed and sat down, tail thumping in a friendly way. Hopefully the girl would realize she wasn't going to hurt her. Alicia looked at the girl and jumped from her perch. Landing on her feet like a cat. Her dad would say she was cat like when she did that. Well he did train her to survive. Alicia looked at the girl and than to the dog. Alicia put her hands behind her back and held the little tinny dagger she keep back there. She waited for the girl to say something before saying anything. Alicia did not want to take the chance of making the girl do something too her.

VictoriaFear is all in the mindVictorias eyes turned ferocious when the girl hit the ground. Now she could study her a little better. Short, reddish-brown hair, and seemed lithe as a cat. Unlike Victoria who mostly was an ox. Blowing hair out of her eyes in annoyance, she shuffled her feet. Stanley had started to growl, but the clever dog- obviously owned previously- had stopped from a sharp tap by his new mistress. Her silver-and-blue eyes tried to focus on the girl in front of her.
"What's your name? No worries, I'm Victoria. In this world, names don't matter as much, do they?" She was nervous. Usually she'd wait for the other person to talk, but lately, that's been different. Perhaps she though that by talking her head off she'd get killed sooner. It would be best. Most of the dogs she had were hunters, the only ones who could survive. Survivors, and half the time Victoria wondered how the others had survived. These other humans. Shaking her head and refocusing on the girl, she lifted a hand and listlessly tugged on her green bangs. Music Muse: Simplicity, by me Notes: N/A

Amber was walking. Just walking. She had even left her precious dual blades back at the orphanage. Today she was only carrying her bow and arrows. You could say she felt lucky. The bright red head was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt with black skinny jeans, and black converse. She wasn't big on showing much of her body out in public where the crazies were hiding. As she passed the old abandoned Albertsons, she wondered how many people lived in there. How many people who had gone mad in there, without anything, some without anyone, but the products tossed about on the shelves and floors. Her strangely colored aqua marine eyes hardened. Crazy people like the one who had killed her boyfriend. She took her bow out of its sheath, just to be safe. Amber ran a thin hand down the worn surface of the bow. She could feel the knotches in which the words she was so familiar with were eternaly etched into the wood. Voices. Amber could hear voices.
Snapping her head up, Amber woke up from her daze and quickly and skillfully adjusted to her surroundings. Abandoned Park. Two individuals. Girls. Under 17. Both weary of each other. Amber thought quickly. She could tell these kinds of things by the sound of their voices, and foot falls or taps. Slowing her pace, Amber casually made her way over to the park where her nights were spent with Jake when he was still alive. Grasping the bow Jake had handmade for her the night before he had died for reassurance, the six foot one fifteen year old made her way into the park. "Greetings." Amber said cooly to the two girls standing before her. She had one hand ready to reach up and grab an arrow if they weren't nice folks.

Alicia looked at the girl as she spoke. Alicia did not and can not trust anybody. It just does not register in her brain. After all her dad told her not to trust anybody. Her dad basically implanted it in her brain. "I don't...... know....... But..... I'm Alicia....... If that matters any." Alicia keep her eyes locked on the girl but Alicia did take her hand off of her weapon. She did not trust this person yet. She might want to trust somebody but she just can't
