A tall, dark silhouette walked against the glare of the light of the moon that cast down on the river. Shawn looked up at the moon, one of the only things that made this world worth living for. The white fluorescent glare of the moon lit up his dark brown eyes, and he blinked slightly. If someone where to see him, they would be able to see the pain of his past burning in his eyes, down to the core. He walked in the dark, only the moon lighting his path down the broken, dangerous bridge. Truthfully, he really didn't care if the floor collapsed beneath him and he fell to his death, but of course it wouldn't happen and never has. He glanced behind him for a moment, feeling like someone was watching him. He had made it a habit of doing that, since his past was like this. He trudged along, but tripped over an ivy root that was entwined along a metal fragment. He fell on his face, and got up silently muttering fowl words under his breath. He looked at his sleeve, and saw a new tear was in it. "Great.." he muttered flatly, his voice was rather soft but at will he could add fire to it making it sound as fierce as death. He continued walking along, only about 1/6 down the bridge, for it was fairly long. He made sure to watch for holes, and anymore of those stupid Ivy tangles. As he walked, the fire of pain still burned in his deep eyes.
(lol, that's how I normally act xD)

Soft foot taps echoed above. A bright red head was balancing with ease on one of the thick ropes that used to open and close the bridge. The girl, dressed in a black tank top with black skinny jeans, blended in perfectly with the night except for her firey red hair, and glistening aqua marine eyes. She was distracted, looking up at the moon, yet her feet were steady on the rope as if it were a wide, flat road. Two long swords glimmered in the moons rays, which also played on her sharp, seemingly innocent features. As she heard footsteps coming, the girl ran on the rope to the nearest beam, and hid behind it, catching the rope with the top of her foot so it would stop its shimmering. As the footsteps grew louder, the redhead heard a grunt and then a body tumble onto the bridge. Though large, scary animals weren't usually as clumsy, she still couldn't be sure. Smirking as she heard mutters, she reached quickly behind her, her hands tightly grasping the two swords crisscrossed across her back.

(thanks, and I'm a use that thingy you and Raven did on the other thread >:D I'm a use my life quote but I'll just use a fragment of it x.x :D xD) xXShawn TristonsXx "I've gotta prove them wrong, It's me against the world"
xX-'What I think'-Xx xX-"What I say"-Xx
Shawn looked behind him, his brown eyes catching the glare of the moon once again making them blaze like a fire. He caught a slight shimmer of the wire, but he figured it was nothing but he had an odd feeling someone was there. He didn't care if someone was, but he also didn't want t be mauled by a bear at the moment, And of course being him, he called out towards the direction he came out: Hello? Is any shape, form or type of thing there?. Of course, this being a stupid question his eyes flared again from his stupidity, and anger slowly crept over him, unwillingly of course.
He turned heel, and walked again across the bridge not really caring, suddenly, if something killed him. He was angry now, and when he was angry with himself most of all he was a real jerk towards everyone, but mostly himself. 'God, what can someone do to get away from people. Oh wait, I don't deserve anything so never mind' he thought coldly to himself. He grumbled to himself, and continued walking and listening to his foot steps as he walked in the dark.
Shawn paused for a moment and thought deeply, you could always tell when he was thinking because his eyes seemed lost, and 'emotionless'. Nothing was emotionless about him, he could only feel painful emotions. Anger, depression, hatred, pain, agony, but this was nothing new to him. He looked at the edge of the bridge, and walked towards it. He noticed a small ledge on the other side of the red wall of the large suspension bridge, and he quickly lept over the edge, and landed easily on the ledge. Only the soft thud of his shoes hitting the pavement made it known he had done this action. He slowly slunk down the wall, his back running down it even over the sharp metal edges. He sighed, and sat down on the small block of pavement, and let his legs dangle down, threatening to pull him down over 7 building stories.
He sighed, and let his head go back and his the wall silently. He closed his eyes, and let the moon light cast upon him as he lay there, thinking, deciding, ruing. But no one else would know, that what he did when he was like this was only one thing.
and that was regretting his life. Word Count: 399 Comments: I did exactly this once! :D I was escorted off the bridge because they thought I was trying to jump off xD Baha!

Amber Michelle James Just because I'm somewhat happy, doesn't mean I haven't got a story..... Acting - Listening Amber could feel her muscles suddenly tense as a figure walked into her vision. Eyes wide, and dual swords at the ready, she paused, and scanned the figure. Hunched shoulders, tall, skinny, a tear in the sleeve of his black shirt. Blinking her large, unusual aqua marine eyes, she let her lethal weapons fall to a resting position. She'd seen this kid before, walking around with no destination. Just like me....... Amber thought miserably. Turning her attention back to the boy, she noticed he was heading for the edge. "Crap crap crap CRAP!" she hissed. This kid was aiming to jump. Leaping off of the high wires on the bridge, Amber landed safely with a roll that lead her back to her feet. But she was too late. The mysterious boy had jumped over the edge, but before she could cry out, she heard another noise. The sound of feet hitting the pavement. The fifteen year-olds aqua marine eyes widened with curiosity. Pulling out her bow and an arrow just in case, Amber made her way toward the edge. No noise emanated from her feet. She was known for being quick, and deadly silent. That was where small feet came in handy. Stopping silently, Amber got on her tip toes so as not to touch the edge and make any creaking noises, and peeked over the edge. The kid was sitting on a conveniently placed ledge about five feet down from the edge of the bridge. From analyzing the surroundings, Amber could tell this kid was pretty smart. He had obviously seen the ledge as a good spot to think, and then had brought back a ladder with him afterward, in order to be able to come back up onto the bridge. Since the ladder was worn and rusty from water exposure, she could tell it had been there for a while. Backing up a few feet, Amber ran at the edge of the bridge and jumped over it, flipping, and landing right next to the kid. In a flash, her bow was at the ready, an arrow notched into it, the edge inches from the kids heart. Looking up at the kid, anyone could tell she was now in survival mode. Her aqua marine colored eyes were bright and covered in a hostile sheen, and her lips were pulled back in a snarl. Poking his chin with the flat of the arrow, Amber signaled for him to listen to what she had to say. "Say something at least partially intelligent, or I assume you've lost your mind like the rest of my friends, and the arrow. goes. through. your. chest." Amber growled, her bipolar issues making her even more mad. ``Word Count: 501 ``Comments: N/A

XxShawn TristonsxX "I'm a lost cause, not a hero. but I'll make it on my own"
xX-My thoughts-Xx xX-My speech-Xx
Shawn was thinking when he heard a series of words, and his brown eyes flashed open to see eyes peek above him. He didn't bother moving, he just blinked calmly. His eyes followed her as she landed on the pavement next to him, and pointed an arrow at him. He sighed, and raised an eye brow. He glanced down as the arrow was against his heart, and he looked back up at her with placid brown pools that where his eyes,
He listened to her when she spoke, and now he was angry because he was minding his own business and now she was threatening him. He felt the cold flat of the arrow touch his chin, and he stood up moving it away from him. He clearly towered over her, and his brown eyes flashed.I'll give her intelligent, little nuisance . "Intelligent eh? You want me to say something intelligent?" he spat back at her. His eyes flashed angrily, and he flicked his hair out of his eyes. "How about if you even point that arrow at me again, I'll shove it up your ass?" he said, his normally soft voice now having acid words to it, and fire burning at its core. He put his had in his back pocket, and grasped his only real weapon, his switchblade. He looked at her, his frame huffing angrily and soon his eyes went dark, and 'emotionless'. He was thinking, anyone who knew him well knew that when his eyes did that he was thinking. They quickly lit up again, and he narrowed his eyes. "And who are YOU to come to me when I'm minding my OWN business, and threaten to kill me when I did absolutely NOTHING to you? huh?! What makes you so special?" he growled angrily, his brown eyes suddenly lighting up with anger and fire once again. Word Count: 307 Comments: Now you know what will happen if you ever point an arrow at me xD

Amber Michelle James Just because I'm somewhat happy, doesn't mean I don't have a story..... Acting - Listening Amber's eyes filled with furious tears. "OH YEAH?! Go shove that switchblade up your bloody ass, because I've got dual swords, a bow and unlimited arrows, and a frigging kitchen knife! And you want to know how I got good at using all these weapons? My boyfriend, the love of my live, taught me for YEARS! I became an expert in the arts of weaponry, stealth, and reflex. But you know what happened after my fifteenth birthday? I FOUND HIM GOD DAMN DEAD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GOD DAMN FOREST BECAUSE OF SOME CRAZY PERSON!!!!" Amber screamed, tears pouring down her cheeks. "I'm living for him. And so I'm putting all those people who've gone bloody insane out of their misery, so that they don't kill people and ruin whats left of this hell hole!" she yelled, her british accent clipping hostily. Amber was about to continue, when her knees became weak, and she sank to the ground, her bow and arrow clattering down next to her. Sobbing into her hands, the redhead was no longer a threat, but just a living ball of sadness and pain. "Don't you dare assume I'm doing this for the fun of it. How DARE you assume I think I'm special. 'Go shove it up your ass'. You're so stupid. So, so stupid. And I bet your the one thats been taking all my food too? You mother......" Amber stopped herself. She stopped yelling, she stopped talking, she stopped crying. She was simply sitting there. Breathing. Remembering what it was like back in England. Where she could be in peace. With her mother and father, who had probably forgotten her by now. Living on their happy lives in Whales as if they had never had a daughter that was mugged from them. Looking up, Ambers aqua marine eyes met the kids emotionless brown ones. Getting up quickly, she dug her foot into the first step of the ladder, and used it to launch herself back up onto the bridge. With that she put her bow back in its sheath, the arrow back in its case, and began storming off, hopefully making it safely back to the orphanage... ``Word Count: 422 ``Comments: N/A

XxShawn TristonsxX "I'm a lost cause, not a hero. but I'll make it on my own"
xX-My thoughts-Xx xX-My speech-Xx
Shawn didn't move an inch, and he just blinked and stared down at her as she bawled on the ground. He blinked nervously, and sighed. "Sorry..." he murmered. He hadn't meant to tell her to shove it up her arse, but he was angry at that moment. He sighed, and looked at her. "I'm sorry about him, I know how you feel. Trust me." he said softly, his once fierce brown eyes now calm and emtionless.
"You're so stupid. So, so stupid. And I bet your the one thats been taking all my food too? You mother......"
When he heard that he looked back at her. "I know I'm stupid, It's not my fault" he growled flatly. "and Do I really look like I'm stealing your food?" he asked, he lifted his sweat shirt, and t-shirt to show his rib cage protruding through the skin, standing out alot. He dropped the shirt, and sweat shirt. He watched her leap over the bridge side again, and trudge away. "Nice meeting you, the names Shawn" he called out an edge in his voice, and sat back down and gazed at the moon, the round orb in the sky lighting up his eyes once again.
