Allison Emily Jasper What doesn't kill me--makes me stronger.
Talking - Thinking
Allison silently paced from one end of the room from the other. She could hear the faint thump of her foot each time her black, high topped chucks hit the solid linoleum floor. Its checkered pattern was one that reminded her of her own school. Oddly enough she didn't miss school and the constant breathing on her neck from teachers that were worried about her grades. Her plans to avoid any teachers good side never seemed to work and they always held her after class which sucked up what little time she had in passing periods to collect her thoughts.
The young seventeen year old drew to a stand still, hands balled into fist at her side and she could feel the anger swell in her chest. She let her arms lift from her sides as if she was going to attempt a useless flight but then rather lazily let them fall back against her thighs. Gently she side and walked over to a cracked, boarded up window in an attempt to see the hellish world that she was forever engulfed in. A small but very bruised left hand touched on of the boards as she stood on tip-toes to see through one of the larger gaps. The town was down right hideous and it sickened her to see what the world had come to. Lifelessly she dropped herself to the ground and curled up against the wall. Protective arms wrapped tightly around her knees as she rested her head against the wall.
Life was always a never ending struggle but this seemed to be the worst that she's ever tried to over come. Stubbornly she bit her lip as she let her thoughts run wild. Are my friends even alive or did they just give up when the apocalypse hit? I hope they are and I hope that they are as safe as I am. Someday I'll get back home to where I belong. Her focus had always been wrapped so tightly around the past and all of the triadic events that riddle it. Frustrated at how she was just moping around, Allison pushed herself to her feet and started walking towards a rickety, mahogany desk so she could work on another unique but hideous drawing. Anything to keep her thoughts from pulling her back into the black depths of depression.
Rather abruptly she stopped drawing and tore the page from her sketch book. She folded the parchment in half and then tore it once, twice, three times just to hide the mistakes she made. Would she ever do anything right? To prevent from any more snapped pencils, bruised knuckles or holed walls, Allison set the writing utensil down and tucked her hands deep inside the pockets of her jeans. She focused her brown gaze on the ceiling before letting her eye lids fall over her emotionless gaze. "I'm done." She mumbled the fragmented statement under her breath.

Amber Michelle James Just because I'm somewhat happy, doesn't mean I don't have a story.... Acting - Listening Amber had finally made her way out of her orphanage hideout for the day. Lack of food and water had left her counting and stocking up. She hadn't panicked too badly when she walked into the storage room and found it nearly empty. "Yep. Because nobody notices when you take half her stock of food during the living hell of an apocalypse!" she had snorted sarcastically. The huge closet had gone from half full, to nothing but five cans of beans, two soup packets, some pop-tarts, and a package of artichoke dip. It was certainly not the best way to start off in an apocalypse. Though mad, she understood. There were others who were still frightened, didn't know how to hunt, or to make fire either. She was one of the lucky ones. The fifteen year old was equipped with dual blades, a bow and arrow, and a small knife used for cutting meat at the table. How did she get all these things? Well, being desperately in love with a blacksmith counts, right? Amber and Jared trained by the waterfall with weapons all the time during the darkest part of night. Amber became one with exceptional aim, and hearty blows very quickly. On her fifteenth birthday, Jared had made her a bow, along with some arrows, and the dual swords. They were all hand-crafted, with whimsical designs and lettering's dancing across their surfaces. But as well as that being one of her happiest and most joyful memories, it was also one of her saddest. That was the last night Amber ever saw Jared. Without warning he had disappeared without a trace at the start of the apocalypse. Amber searched desperately for Jared, never stopping for a single moment, and when she did find him, she realized she would have been better off not knowing. The love of her life lay lifeless, his face barely recognizable in decay, and his chest split open. That was the night when she truly found out she did not care anymore. About anything but helping others survive this mess. Shaking herself out of her revere, Amber found her feet carrying her toward the old school. Stopping, she let her highly trained hearing take over, listening for any suspicious sounds. The only thing she could hear was the ripping of paper, and the quiet murmur of a girl she could not recognize. Reaching behind her, she felt her eyelids flutter closed at the comforting sound of her blades as they unsheathed themselves from her back sheathes. "Just in case" she muttered, heading for the door, her aqua marine eyes glistening and sparkling with curiosity, and, for the first time in a while, fear. ``Word Count: 490 ``Comments: Um.... Hi? xD

Xx-Shawn Tristons-xX "I've got to prove them wrong, It's me against the world."
xX-'What I think'-Xx xX-"What I say"-Xx
Deep brown eyes stared at the entrance to the 'base', as he heard it was called. Shawn wondered if anyone was inside, and if hey would attack him if he did enter. He was cautious about this stuff, because sadly, it had happened to him before and he had been stabbed for it. He sighed, and his curiosity got the best of him. Once again, but hopefully this time he wouldn't pay for it like last time. His eyes flashed for a moment with thought, and then they calmed back into brown pools of emptiness.
He entered through a side hole in the wall, but he didn't get through the smaller hole without bonking his head on the top of the hole. This frustrated him and he muttered fowl words under his breath, as he did most of the time. ''God, I need to learn how to fricking watch my head'' he growled to himself. He sighed, and stood up on the other side to his full 5'7 height. He flicked his head, sending his hair out of his eyes and just over the left one. He walked down the hall, his shoes making soft thud on the tiled floor.
He stepped over a small stream that ran across the tile, and stuck his hands in his hoodie pockets. Of course this wasn't for warmth in the heat of the summer, just for 'protection'. He knew if anyone was hostile with him, he was one of the best in this city/town for hand combat. He blinked slowly, and continued to walk down the hall when he heard maybe a voice? He glanced around, and wondered if anyone was following him or watching him. Of course they weren't because he wasn't exactly 'exciting' as he has been told.
He sighed once more, his breath slowly shaking has he let out his breath. He walked past an open door, and a shape sitting against the wall with her eyes closed. His eyes flickered, and he shook his head clearing it of surprise. He hadn't seen a real alive person since the apocalypse had began. He backed up slowly, hoping that she wouldn't see him. It was his nature to be timid around strangers, and hide himself. He argued with himself wondering if he should just leave, or speak to her. She seemed older than him, but he wasn't positive.
His conscious told him to speak, but his mind didn't want to. Eventually he managed to decide that he needed to actually speak to someone instead of muttering to himself all the time. Just. Speak. To. The. Person. his mind practically screched at him. He rolled his eyes at the voice in hsi head. He didn't know how to approach this person, but he shuffled his feet on the ground for a moment. He thought for a moment, his brown eyes flickering. He had come up to a conclusion. He walked out from behind the wall, and stood in the door way. His hair was flicked over one eye, and his one visible brown eye showed his timidness. "Uhh...Hello?" he asked, his voice rather soft but it had hardness to it from all his years of crying, and yelling, etc. He wasn't going to act hostile, because after all he approached her. But also it just wasn't his nature. Word count: 533 (wow o.o) Comments: hehe, I act like this all the time xD I always argue with myself :D I normally win :P

Allison Emily Jasper What doesn't kill me--makes me stronger.
Talking - Thinking
The sound of a mumble and large sheets of metal being drawn away from a protective case touched Allison's ears. Her muscles contracted to the point she couldn't even more from the chair she lounged in. There was a non-stop pounding in her head. Why was her head pounding with such ferocity when it didn't even hurt several seconds ago? Then the sudden realization seemed to click as she drew in a deep, slow breath of air. Her heart was pounding so intensely she could feel it on her brain. Another couple slow breaths and Alli forced herself out of the chair. She ended up pacing the checkered floor before sulking back against the wall.
Her cherished knife would be no use against two larger weapons in which the mumbler outside one door wielded. Best chance of survival was to avoid looking like any type of threat and if she had to fight which in the end was her last option. She let her head lean against the off white colored wall and dark brown eyes focused on the door. Now it was just a waiting game to see who would bust through the shut class room door.
"Uhh...Hello?"
The sound of someones voice in the room startled her. In a rather quick action she was on her feet and facing the person behind the soft but pain hardened voice. She tucked her hands in her pockets knowing that this wasn't the armed person that was outside. He was taller than her by six or so inches but had a rather clumsy and starved appearance to him. "Hi..." She replied rather hesitant about talking to the new face.
So many people had seemed to stumble upon this one room in which she put herself in to get away from the crazy people of Minneapolis. Apparently her attempt didn't work to the best of her intentions. She blinked slowly before glancing towards the door which she expected to open at any second with some crazy person swinging large steel, or some sort of metal, weapons around. Her shoulders rose and then fell as she drew in a deep breath for another sigh. "Look if this is some sort of ambush you can call them off. I don't have anything valuable nor do I have any food." She refrained from a scowl as she assumed what this stranger was looking for just because of his appearance.
It was true, she had no food nor anything significant that would help in an apocalypse because she wasn't from around her. Now if she was back at home she could be tucked away in her house safe and sound. The most she had to defend herself or get any soft of food was an old knife passed down from her fathers side of the family for years. Originally it was suppose to be passed down to a son of him but since she was his only child, she inherited the knife. If this stranger in the room wanted anything valuable the only thing she had was her mothers golden locket and Alli would fight to the death to hold onto that. Nervously she shuffled her feet on the dusty ground and studied the path in which she walked earlier. Funny, know she knew how people had an idea where she was at. Oh well. "Sorry..." She mumbled finally focusing her gaze back on the slightly younger teenage boy in front of her.

He glanced at her for a moment, and then she was right in front of him. He blinked quickly in surprise, but made no sound. He looked at her, and noticed she was shorter by half a foot. He glanced at her as she spoke, and he thought for a moment. This was making his eyes go dark, and emotionless for a moment before focusing back on her. His hands remained in his pocket, for he had no intention on doing anything but speak.
"I don't want to take anything of yours, its not fair. It's your belongings and they are not open for me to take, some people don't respect that." he said, replying to her comment about him going to take her stuff. He was confused, 'Do I look that desperate?' he thought to himself.
He was in a calmer mood today, but even if he was angry he wouldn't take her belongings. He slipped a hand out of his pocket, and used it o move his hair over his left eye for it kept falling into his right which was quite annoying.
His warm, dark brown eyes rippled gently and he looked at her confused when she said she was sorry. "Sorry for what?" he asked, his voice edged with curiosity. "You did nothing to be sorry for" he replied calmly. "Anyway, I'm not here to bother you or take anything, I'm just trying to escape from outside, and I saw you and I decided to say hi..." he trailed off realizing he was jabbering again. "heh..sorry I don't shut up" he apologized nervously.
He took a step back for a moment, because he wasn't used to being near people. He looked at her again, and blinked quickly again as another thought fluttered into his mind. "why are you alone? It's not good to be alone, I would know" he said, his eyes flashing for a moment.
He thought for a moment once again, and he remembered. "Oh...my names Shawn..." he told her. "Mine as well acquaintance myself with you, sorry." he said, and looked at her silently.

Allison Emily Jasper What doesn't kill me--makes me stronger.
Talking - Thinking
Allison rocked back and from her heels to the balls of her feet. Now she felt bad for assuming why Shawn was here. That saying about assuming was certainly true right now. Timidly she pulled her left hand from her pocket and ran short fingers through brown hair. Her side swooping bangs fell naturally over her left eye which sometimes creating sight issues but that didn't matter one bit. Silently she stood listening to what he had to say.
"I don't want to take anything of yours, its not fair. It's your belongings and they are not open for me to take, some people don't respect that."
Uneasily I rubbed my arm with my left hand which I hadn't felt like putting back in my pocket. "Sorry for assuming that you came to steal. I...well...the apocalypse...trust..." She closed her mouth before any other babbled words could fall from it. Terrible peoples skills always ruined her conversations unless she really knew the person which in the end didn't make much sense. Tentatively she looked at her hand before shoving it back into her pocket.
"Sorry for what?"
There was a lot of things in this world that she was sorry for and the be honest she wasn't even the reason for most. Lazily she shrugged her shoulders because she had basically explained why she was sorry to him. Although she certainly could just continue rambling on like some idiot but she didn't. Her life was just full of random encounters with strangers, some happened to be good while others bad. Most actually started on the wrong note and this conversation just seemed to be awkward just a tad bit at least.
Alli listened as he continued talking about a bit of everything. Sort of cute actually that he didn't know when to shut up. The cuteness faded when he asked her why she was alone. Her brown gaze dropped to the ground and she lowered her head to the point her hair fell completely over her face. Why did it matter that she was alone? Clearly he was alone to, well not exactly at this moment but before their encounter he was. I didn't answer and he continued to speak. His name was Shawn and he too was alone.
"Nice to meet you Shawn. My name's Allison or Alli for short." She replied gently figuring it was better to at least exchange names than just stand in an awkward silence. Though she had still yet to actually explain why she was in the base alone or almost alone since there was still someone outside of the door. "To answer your question from earlier, I just like being alone. Plus I'm not from around here and I don't know the people that survived, some of which are just plane crazy."

XxShawn TristonsxX "I'm a lost cause, not a hero. but I'll make it on my own"
xX-My thoughts-Xx xX-My speech-Xx
Shawn watched her as her bangs fell over her left eye naturally when she moved her hair. He noticed his fell over his left eye as well. Interesting. Of course this was an absoluetly stupid thing to noticed, and even point out to himself but these little thing he noticed. Unlike most people in the world, he notices things that the reguler eye cares not to look over. He looked from the floor, back up at her locking gazes. It was something he had learned when he was a child,, well around 10 or 11. He always had to lock gazes with his father, intimidation. His eyes flashed from the memory of the black blood shot eyes that always raged with fire and hatred for his son. Shawn's eyes quickly faded again as he tried to remove the thought from his memory, not wanting the pain that clearly burned in his eyes to alarm anyone. "Sorry for assuming that you came to steal. I...well...the apocalypse...trust...""Don't worry about it, I've been yelled at about that before because of my appearence." he said, thinking back to the tart 15 year old girl he had encountered at the suspension bridge. Now SHE was annoying, and rude. Threatning him when he did nothing. Who was she?. He quickly focused back on Allison with his depleted brown eyes. He let his hands slide out from his hoodie front pocket, and slither right into his back pockets. Most people had them in thier front, well, he was different. If ya hadn't noticed already. His eyes followed her shoulder shrug, and he felt a smile start to twitch at the side of his mouth, but it died away quickly. Sometimes he thought he just couldn't smile anymore, these days and for the past 5 years, nothing but scowls and pain. He tried to set that aside as well adn focus on the convosation. Of course, he easily gets distracted as well but he managed to focus on her, watching her think. He had always loved to watch people think, because it meant that they where good at making decisions and other things of the such. When he used to have "friends" he was always called the thinker or the observer of the group, noticing little things. That had always helped him in school as well, getting good grades and all. He watched her gaze drop, and her head hang. He thought for a moment, he knew he shouldn't have them just meeting and all, but it was his insticts. He hugged her gently, and then backed up 3 or 4 steps. He ahd hugged her for nothing more than comfort, nothing more. He knew how it felt to have comfort, his sister had always hugged him when he was 9 and it always made him feel better. He wondered if this was a good thing to do, and if he had just made a mistake. He looked at her, his brown eyes rippling, thinking. When she told him her name, and nodded. "Lovely name, I like it" he said, smiling a bit. His eyes flashed instantly. Had he just...really?.... did he jsut smile? This took him by surprise and then he realized that his eyes where probably shocked, which maed him look stupid most likely. He quickly calmed, and listened to her finsish her statment. He chuckled a bit, and glanced at her meeting her gaze once again. "Well I can assure you I'm sane, though I can be crazy at times" he smiled clearly teasing a bit about him being crazy, but though this smile surprise him he managed to hide it. He thought for a moment when she said she wasn't around from here, he blinked. "Well if you havn't noticed this area is quite lovely, almost like a tropical resort" he teased, his eyes lighting up a bit. He leaned against the door frame behind him, and he looked at her. "Where do you come from?" he asked, curiously. His brown eyes flickered gently as he tried to imagine where she would come from, or how she got here in the first place. He had been brought here by his father for a buisness trip, of course against his will, when the apocalypse struck and he couldn't return to florida, which he had heard from some people talking that had went completly underwater in the wrold wide apocoplyse. He sighed softly, that probably meant his mother and sister where dead, but his father could still be in minneapolis, hopefully dead. He looked at her, and blinked. His head naturally flicked his hair outof his right eye, and looked outside the window through the boards. He was about that hieght, so he could look striaght out side, and his eyes locked on a dove that had oil spotches all over it, and tilted his head again before looking back at Alli. VictoriaSelf-proclaimed reject.Wind whistled through the broken walls. She was crawling through the air ducts, praying it would not fall from beneath her. Breath rasping from the dust, she sat back, and coughed. A dirt-covered hand moved quickly and whisked the glasses off of her face. She cleaned them with her shirt, and poked them back on. Voices reached her ears, and Victoria flinched. Growling to herself, she found an opening, and dropped through it onto a beam. She was over a large hole in the ceiling. The girl dragged her purple-and-green streaked hair back into a ponytail, and she leaned forward to observe the people who were making all the noise. One was a girl, like her but perhaps older, with brown hair that kept falling into her eyes. Victoria scowled and narrowed her eyes at the other voice. Shifting so she could see the other one, she saw it was a boy. Again, probably older than her. He was unbelievably skinny, and Victoria frowned. Couldn't he find food? Maybe he was stupid. She shook her head, no. That wasn't very nice.
Tilting her head, the girl toyed with her overgrown bangs. The boy hugged the girl, and looked a bit uncomfortabe. Her eyes rolled. Poor thing, from the way they'd been talking they'd just met. He was making his move too quick. Victoria leaned in closer to see the girls reaction. Then a bat decided to flutter past her, and she fell off the beam and onto the floor. She shrieked.
Head spinning, Victoria sat up, and looked around. "Shoot." Her eyes landed on the pair she'd been watching. She stood, brushing herself off. "Um... terribly sorry. I was just wondering where the exit was?" Lips set in a nervous, close-mouthed smile Victoria backed up slowly, her shoulders hunched. There were reasons she avoided all of humanity. Allison Emily Jasper What doesn't kill me--makes me stronger.
Talking - Thinking
So this wasn't the first time he had been accused from coming to steal. Probably not the best person to be around if he gave off that vibe. Allison watched as a smile formed but quickly died away. Did people every smile anymore? Then arms wrapped around her and her body seemed to freeze. Strangers did not just randomly hug. Slowly she drew in a deep breath and tried to relax because this shouldn't be a big deal, or at least for many people it shouldn't.
The urge to pull away was there but she definitely didn't want to freak out her newly formed acquittance. Life for here had never been filled with unicorns and rainbows. Mostly hardships followed by pain that formed the anti-social and self-conscious teenager she was to this day. The girl who wanted to disintegrate into a pile away from society had only formed recently, around three years ago or better yet Freshman year in high school. Slowly she looked up into Shawn's thoughtful brown eyes. After working past such terrible thoughts of her past she realized this wasn't as bad as she was making it to be but none the less she stood as still as possible.
Then he said he liked her name, well actually he said it was lovely and that he liked it. A very faint smile played on her lips. "Thanks. You have a lovely name as well." she replied softly. Her name was actually fairly common so he'd probably heard it before but at least he still thought it was lovely. So many people back where she lived used to hate hearing that her name was Allison because they all ready knew far to many Alli's.
"Well I can assure you I'm sane, though I can be crazy at times"
There was so many come backs that Alli could say to that sentence. Instead she just looped the best ones through her head not truly sure as to what would offend him and what wouldn't. To avoid any involvement with feelings she went with the simple route. "Everyone can be crazy at times, just those that are crazy all the time that scare me." She mumbled kind of hoping he wouldn't hear.
Shawn's comment about this place being a tropical paradise made her laugh and she gently shook her head. "I come from Arizona so this place is so much different. Where do yo--" She answered, trailing off from her own question at the sound of a scream which came from inside the room. Timidly Allison pulled away and backed towards the wall.
The sound of a thud signaled as to where the new face had fallen. Alli locked her brown eyes on the person before slowly letting her gaze float up to the beams. How long had she been up there? Alli raised an eye brow and let her gaze drop back towards this new stranger who had been looking for an exit in the beams. Odd. "I...see." She replied flatly, "All the way up in the rafters? Did you really expect to find an exit of some sorts?"

Amber had been watching the whole thing silently by the crook in the door. Known for her cat-like silence, she wasn't surprised no one had seen her yet. The only thing that usually gave her away was her uncharacteristically bright red hair. But the Shawn guy was to busy hitting it up with the seemingly nice girl who obviously wasn't expecting, nor liking, visitors. And then came the bird child, who apparently thought the exit was out the window and into the sky. But she didn't make it that far, and Amber nearly gave herself away in a fit of silent giggles. Even though she was never soft, she was still only fifteen, and sometimes her old characteristics came back to her.
"I see." "All the way up in the rafters? Did you really expect to find an exit of some sorts?"
Amber smiled. I don't know who she is, but I like her. she thought, crossing her arms and listening in. But as she caught more of the guys features, she realized something. He's the guy from the bridge who decided he was going to tell me to shove it up my ass. Amber thought angrily. She got up to leave, but she was so tall that her head hit the top of the door frame. "OW!" she yelped angrily. Then her aqua marine eyes wen't wide. "Welp, now I'm screwed." she muttered, and turned around, ducking under the door frame the second time. When she was fully into the room, she stood straight up again, revealing her full 6 foot 2ish hight. Dual blades were held tightly in her hands. "Hi." she said rather quietly.

Shawn Tristons I'm a lost cause, not a hero. But I'll make it on my own.
Thinking Speaking
He listened to her speak, and Shawn nodded. "Thanks" he said. He listened to her mumble something softly, and pretended he didn't catch it. She probably didn't want him to hear it when she said it softly. He just blinked, and looked at her. "Arizona...haven't been there before" he said, and blinked as she was cut off when a shriek sounded.
Shawn watched the girl fall from the rafters and he didn't even flinch. He raised an eye brow, and looked at her with dark brown eyes. "Smooth" was all he said, to her 'exit' finding. He listened to Allison speak, and he couldn't help but smile. His brown eyes flashed as he looked at her. His hands where stuffed in his pack pockets now, and he didn't bother moving.
He saw someone enter next to him as he as leaning in the door frame, and still. He didn't move. He side glanced at the girl next to him, and remembered it was the girl from the bridge. He saw her hit her head, and he raised an eye brow again. His eyes rolled non-chelonttley (spelling fail xD). and he watched her as she spoke.
"whelp, I'm screwed"
You always have been. He commented in his mind. He moved away from the door, and away from all the other people and sat on a desk in the corner. The opposite corner of the door that was. He blinked as she said Hi. "Oh, so you see them and you say hi. You see me you shove an arrow in my face" he said, a hint of anger in his voice. "I see...I see" he said. He leaned against the wall, and held a knee up to his chest, letting the other one dangle.
His black hair rolled into his eye and he looked at them all. His eyes flickered to person to person. He was getting uncomfortable, but he never let anyone see that about him. He noticed his shoe was untied, and he ignored it simply. He looked at them all again, and rubbed him arm silently. He pushed down his studded bracelet, and let his head roll back and touch the wall. "Well....this is lovely" he said sarcastically. "We have a loner, a giant, a person looking for an 'exit'" he paused, saying exit very sarcastically. "and a lonely person" he said. "what a bunch" he said, blinking silently.
He looked at her duel swords in her hands, and flicked his hair. "What are you planning to do with those? Chop some steak?" he said, his eyes narrowing.
Words: 425
Comments: Oh and if you're wondering who is who. I'm the loner, Amber's the giant, The exit one is kinda obvious, and the other is the lonely person.

VictoriaThe lonely side of life is the only side of lifeThere was a door, but Victoria wasn't the type to just run. It was rude. She glanced at the girl, who spoke first. Ferocious blue eyes sparked at the smallish person. Victoria thought she heard a smile in the voice, or was it sarcasm? Whatever it was, she relaxed slightly.
"What can I say. If you fall far enough, you'll find an exit." The tall girls eyes flickered with sadness behind her bangs. Then the boy muttered something, 'smooth' was what she caught. A sarcastic smirk was sent his way. He wanted to be that way, that's how it's be. "I'm here 'till Thursday if you want a repeat performance." Victoria then let her face go blank and she stared stonily at her feet, until yet another person yelped and barged into the room. She glared at her, studying her. Finally, a girl bigger than her. Crossing her arms, she tapped her foot as the boy spoke. Apparently he and newbie here had met previously. And the girl had pointed an arrow at him! Victoria couldn't help but give a tiny snort in laughter. A tiny glance at the redhead, along with a wink, showed her congratulations. No offense to the boy, of course. It was just her simple reaction. Music muse: I'm Blue by Notes: I like Storms idea. I was thinking of that as well. BTW, it's nothing personal, I just laughed so much at that.

"What, with these?" she asked, her British accent clipping hostilely. "Well, according to you, shoving them up your ass is a possibility." Catching the bird girls wink, she grinned sideways at her. "Your right. Silly me. Should have known you'd get jealous when you found someone taller, better with weapons, and more of a badass than you. I'll give you your distance, O' Loner the Great." Turning away from him, she greeted the other two with smiles. "I would ask you to proove your sanity, but from what I've heard in the doorway, your good enough for me." Flipping the dual swords with her fingers, she threw them up in the air, caught them, and shoved them into their sheathes. "Sorry." Amber laughed, looking up again, "The trick is a force of habit. Me and my boyfriend used to do that trick together. He died at the beggining of the apocolypse thanks to some crazy people." Shooting her aqua marine gaze over to Shawn, she hoped he'd had time to realize what she'd done had meant no real harm. "I check every person I meet to make sure their sane. If their not, well..... I put them out of their misery, so they don't kill anyone else."
Amber awoke from her daze, looking back up at them. "You know," she began, looking over to Shawn, "As much as I barily know you guys, I have to admit we wouldn't be so bad if we grouped together." Finding that her bangs were creeping over her aqua marine eyes, she flipped them away, returning her gaze back to these kids. "I mean, some of us were going to have to group together at some point, or we were going to be more screwed than we already are, so why the bloody hell not?"

Shawn Trisons I'm a lost cause not a hero, but I'll make it on my own.
Thinking Speech
SHawn realized almost everyone hated him, so he just shut up and kept his comments to himself. He flicked his hair, and listened to Amber speak. He sighed, and realized that he had been a jerk recently, and it just because he was nervous around people. He sighed, and let his head fall back and hit his head on the wall, making a loud thunk. "ugh" he said, just out of emotions not pain.
He sighed, and thought for a moment. His eyes darkening in thought, and he blinked. He thought deeply. Amber was right, we have a better chance together...but he also was hated and felt awkward around everyone here. His eyes came back to life, and he blinked. "I'll do it" he said, and crossed his legs sitting upright.
He looked around at the other, wondering what they're answers would be. Yes, no, bye? he had no clue, but if it was only him and that Amber girl, he would certainly back out, she and him clearly didn't mix well. He sighed, and looked at them. His brown eyes rippling, and he looked up through a boarded window, and saw the sun peak from the clouds for a moment. He sighed, and nodded. "I will" he said again. "You're right, why not" he said shrugging, like he really didn't care all that much.
He slid off the chair, and walked back over to them, and leaned against the wall once again. His arms crossed over his chest, and he blinked silently once more. "What about you guys?" he said, nodding the them.
